How To Sort Your Mixed Containers

Mixed Containers means all rigid glass, metal and plastic food containers.

Urban Impact does not need our customers to sort and keep these materials separate. All glass, metals and plastics can be put together into the same recycling bin. Listed below are some common items that are Acceptable and some that are Not Acceptable.

Metals Containers
Rinse and flatten metal cans. Labels do not need to be removed.

Plastic Containers
Plastic container types #1, 2 are acceptable. Refer to the bottom of the container to identify the plastic type. Remove caps and flatten plastic containers.
