- Buy food locally to reduce the fuel consumption of transporting goods.
- Make it a goal to avoid buying plastic water bottles and paper coffee cups instead use refillable bottles and mugs
- Lower your thermostat at night, or when not home to save electricity and reduce CO2 emissions
- Now that the weather is getting warmer ride your bike wherever you can! Get exercise, Save $ and help the planet!
- Eliminate partial loads. Only run your dishwasher and washing machine when full to reduce water consumption and save energy!

- Use a projector for meetings and save paper by not printing reports.
- Instead of prizes as recognition @ corporate events, how about making a company policy to give to a charity in lieu of gifts.
- Replace incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent ones to reduce energy and save $ on your electricity bill.
- Unplug small appliances and electronics when not in use. Keeping them plugged in drains energy and your wallet!

- Place small reminding signs about turning off lights when offices are not in use, great way to reduce energy!
- Install blinds on windows, great way to save heating in the winter and cooling in the summer!

- Have you audited your garbage bin? Look and see what is still going into it, once you know you can reduce & eliminate!
- Do you collect composting from your home and/or business? If not, it's an easy way to reduce your garbage!
- Low flow toilets and low flow taps are a great way to reduce water consumption at your office and in your home!
